All artwork is the sole property of Tonya Cruz and is held under copyright even after purchase. The images, artwork, and contents of this website may not be copied, collected, or used for personal or professional gain without the written permission from Tonya Cruz. All images of artwork, sold or otherwise, are retained by Tonya Cruz.

 

WHO OWNS RIGHTS TO YOUR ARTWORK?

I do! All original artwork, commissions and prints are held under copyright and are the property of Tonya Cruz. The buyer may not reproduce or resell the artwork in any way.

I retain all rights to all artwork I create. This includes the rights to the image of sold and commissioned original paintings. I retain the right to make reproductions of any and all artwork I create unless the collector has also purchased the full or partial rights to the artwork. (To discuss purchasing the rights, contact me.) The collector or buyer may not reproduce the artwork in any way without written permission. 

If the artwork is reproduced in a magazine or other media, I will just ask for credit.

When buying an original painting, the collector is entitled to showcase the artwork in their home or business. However, the artwork cannot be reproduced without obtaining written permission from Tonya Cruz.
